I purchased the set from Anastasia.net before and I believe it was the 5-Element Brow Kit. I tried the Stencils and in my opinion, stencils in general are a bit hard to use. I think this is because I have thicker brow. If I thin them a lot and make them the almost "not there" look, then the brow stencils might easier to use. It also create a harsher brow than if I were to freehand.

So unless you are completely new to eyebrow shaping and need some assistance, then the brow stencils might help in terms of finding the shape that might work for you. If you play around enough with brow pencils or brow powder, I think you can get a more natural look from it.

I also bought the Anastasia Brow Pencil and had been using that for the past years until recently.
